Options / ideas:

  • Maybe 'return' is always live with a way to go back if pressed in error
  • Visual sign that play control is (en|dis)abled
  • Enable controls five seconds before start of fade

After investigation, I suspect this is caused by long silence at the start of the track (1510ms for The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and 5700ms(!) for Goin' Back).
